Originally from Hastings, East Sussex, Leo Boyd studied for a BA in Fine Art in Context in Bristol before moving to the South of Ireland in the year 2000 to study and live. In 2011 he moved to Belfast where he screenprints full time.
He sees it as a liberating art form, democratising the visual image, and encompassing street-art, sculpture, collage, photography and painting.
Leo's current work explores the notion that we are currently living in a computer simulation. His "Welcome to the Simulation" exhibition was shown at Atom in May 2018.
