Inspired by medieval engravings and traditional woodcut techniques, Cem works on quirky, old-school linocut & woodcut artworks at his studio.
He combines children's images which he sees as a symbol of innocence and naivety in a grotesque world.
His working method consists of a charcoal drawing, and then transferring the sketch on the surface and tracing the image, after which he prints the final piece with his traditional linocut press.
