Kimberley Bright graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee with a degree in Fine Art in 2007 and subsequently spent the following 15 years not making any of her own art at all. She reacquainted herself with her paintbrushes in December 2022 and she genuinely couldn’t be happier about this. She hopes her paintings make you genuinely happy too - that’s the point of them.
Kimberley lives and works in sunny Glasgow in Scotland. She has a paintbrush tattooed on the middle finger of her left hand but she uses actual brushes to make the work. She puts mayonnaise on just about everything and she really likes laughing. Her Dad invented Bananaman and her Mum is sort of a Shaman. She likes to take photos of found words, her preferred flowers are tulips and she doesn’t have a favourite colour.
